Full course description
Many of our reading skills are well practiced; however, the analysis of complex business problems and cases demands a type of reading that is more involved than following the plot or skimming for the main ideas. The type of reading required for successful case analysis needs to be thoughtful and engaged with an intended purpose beyond just following the story. Specifically, reading to understand, retain, or analyze the information presented in densely written material is not a leisurely activity. This session provides some techniques and guidance to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of intentional reading and analysis of business situations.
