Full course description

Pandemics are not new to the world, yet each one brings its unique challenges and will ultimately change societies forever.  We can learn from the past and the present to prepare for the future.  This course provides an interdisciplinary examination of issues related to past and the present pandemic.  As you take the journey through this course, you will learn about issues related to pandemics from economic, social science, historical, science, engineering, and health care lenses. Expert Widener University faculty in these areas provide a guided learning experience to engage you to think about these issues in a different way and to reflect on what this means for you individually, as well as for the society as a whole.
